Ares vs Ares

Nice work!

For comics that I want to do for my version of Ares(who will appear in comics for my take on the Steve Reeves version of Hercules from the old public domain Hercules movies from the Eighties),he won't really look like either the DC Ares or the Marvel Ares. I want my Ares to look fearsome,towering and intimidating and I'm even going to have it mentioned in a comic that I'm doing for Heracles that Ares(who will be mentioned and not shown)is actually someone who likes the Hip Hop sub-genre of

hardcore Gangsta Rap and who also likes Heavy Metal and Death metal(because of the violence,the profanity,the offensiveness,the rebelliousness,

the confrontational engery,the chaos,the posturing,the bravado,the arrogance,

the sexism,the homopohobia,the misogyny and nihilism).

I've never seen anyone depict Ares that way before but to me,it just makes sense that The Greek God Of War would like Gangsta Rap,Heavy Metal and Death Metal(but that doesn't mean that he'll LOOK like a gangsta or someone in a Rock band or that he'll talk like that,he'll still look pretty close to what most people would expect The God Of War to look like and he'll still sound like what people would expect a War God to sound like).

It'll be interesting to see more people do their own interpretation of Ares and I always encourage people to do that!

Don't just let Marvel,DC and Disney be the only ones making a profit off of public domain mythological characters!
